Louis Riel Relay & Kidfest is coming to Batoche National Historic Site this summer!
The Louis Riel Relay and Kidfest have joined forces to make one incredible day in 2017. Activities include traditional Metis activities such as beading and bannock making, kid-friendly fun like pony rides & bouncy castles, and family activities such as canoeing and food sampling. The weekend highlights are the Louis Riel Relay races and pie eating competition.
Visitors of all ages and from all over Canada are expected to take in this exciting weekend. We need your help to make sure our guests experience the best our area has to offer. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to keep operations running smooth. Please consider registering either as an individual or as fundraising group to help us out!
Volunteers who contribute a specified number of hours with us will receive benefits in exchange for their time. Possibilities include free event admission, free volunteer ball cap, and free snacks or meal.
